Max and Polly Durrant are the proprietors at the Ufford Crown and are joined by executive chef Will Hardiman. Will is Polly’s brother making this a real family business. Max spent 12 years running successful pubs in London, including the One and Only Running Footman in Charles Street, Mayfair and the Hand and Flower on the Kings Road. Polly and Will were raised in Woodbridge before graduating to careers in London. Polly pursued a career in international travel and PR and spent ten years working in the press office at Virgin Atlantic before coming home to Suffolk to start the Ufford Crown and settle into family life with their two daughters.
